About Dr. Bethany Mattina-Chmiel

“The overall goal is your continued oral health, and that’s definitely a ‘trusting in the process,’ making sound reactive and proactive decisions.”

Now a full time resident of Williamsville with her fiance, Kevin, “Doctor Bethany” is extremely excited to be the lead dental practitioner for Samer K Riad Dentistry.

Why don’t we lead off with the most important part of this?!  She’s a Buffalo Bills season ticket holding, part of the BillsMafia and a true Western New Yorker!  When she’s not baking or reading, it’s all about her golden retriever, “Dallas!”

Dr. Mattina-Chmiel’s chairside manner is pure, honest empathy that intersects beautifully with her compassionate, patient focused commitment.

She is honored and excited to be with you all, continuing the care and commitment of Dr. Philip J Young.

[Retired] Dr. Young

Hometown values are at the heart of my dental practice.

I am a 1990 graduate of Williamsville East High School and received my Bachelors degree with Honors in Biological Sciences right here at the University of Buffalo.

Continuing in the great tradition of the world renowned U.B. School of Dental Medicine I graduated Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998.

Following graduation I undertook further training to broaden my skills in a residency program at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital receiving a Certificate of Residency in General Practice.

Because there are continuing advances in the field of dentistry I am always striving to learn the latest, state-of-the-art techniques in order to provide the best possible care for my patients. I regularly attend advanced education classes with an emphasis on restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. These are areas I feel serve my patients best interests and help the community in which I live. What shows confidence and well being better than a bright healthy smile.

In addition, each year during Dental Health month my team and I visit local pre-schools and daycares to educate and excite children about their own dental health and wellness. This gives us an opportunity to plant the seed with kids the importance of routine dental care and how easy and fun it can be to take care of your teeth.

My wife and I along with our two children live in Clarence and know the importance of giving back to our community and we thank you for being a part of my practice.
